Since some establishments are easing their policy regarding minors dining in, we decided to grab a late lunch at Tagaytay then go for coffee, hoping that when we go home, traffic wouldn’t be so horrible.
We went for lunch at Tanawin sa Gulod, a somewhat famous place due to the view. Some would camp out (car camping) near their viewing deck and soak in the scenery.
For lunch we had Baked Bangus (which was horrible, mayo catsup concoction spread over the milkfish and then topped with melted cheese), Crispy Kare – Kare and Honey Glazed Wings (so so). This place is over hyped and over priced. If you only want the view, its better to look for other places.
We also went for coffee and cakes at Brew and Bakes. Its a road side bakeshop with open air seating. Cakes were superb, and coffee, delicioso!
Sadly, what I was expecting didn’t happen. We decided to leave around 530PM and got back home around 830 – 9PM. Traffic going down Tagaytay was pretty heavy.
